Workforce diversity is viewed as one of the main challenges for human resource management in modern organizations. Despite its strategic significance, the greater part of models in this field implicitly considers workforce as a generic and homogeneous category (Alcarzar, 2013) . Diverse workplaces are composed of employees with varying attributes including, however not restricted to, religious and political beliefs, gender, ethnicity, education, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation and geographical area. Northern Trust, a speculation administration firm with 17,800 employees, takes the top spot. The 128-year-old, Chicago-based company persistently delivers “widespread Diversity at Work training,” according to its website. Among Northern Trust’s best officials, women make up 38%, a level significantly higher than the 27% observed among S&P 500 organizations.
